Learn first position notes with String Note Tutor!
String Note Tutor is a fun flashcard app for beginners of all ages to help them learn notes on Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass.
It introduces notes in a relevant order for beginner string players, as well as checking their knowledge of how to play those notes on their instrument.
It works well as a private practice tool, in group or classroom settings, and even in individual lessons. It may help students to better understand note reading and their instruments, and may assist teachers in seeing where their students are having difficulty.
String Note Tutor gives instant feedback, and clearly shows which parts of an answer were correct and incorrect. It contains fun sound effects, so making a mistake never feels too bad! Levels require a certain number of consecutive correct answers to pass, which helps to ensure that students have learned thoroughly before moving on. There are also revision levels, and there's a secret ending screen for string champions!
