Using exciting augmented reality technology alongside a GPS enabled map which tracks your location in real time, Sunderland Experience enables you to discover the City like never before.

Capture and share moments with family and friends as you interact with our fun virtual characters along the trail.

Christmas Stocking Trail - Available 16th November -7th January

We need your help! Santa and Mrs Claus brought some of their festive friends to Sunderland to see the giant Christmas stockings and get in the festive spirit, but now they’re lost in the City Centre.

Join the search for Santa and discover 8 magical Augmented Reality virtual characters and 4 giant Christmas stockings along the way, using the GPS-enabled map to find and collect each one. We wish you a very merry Mackem Christmas.
