IndexMakerS
macOS / Productivité
IndexMaker creates an index or list of figures from PDF documents.
Select a PDF file or an whole folder as source for your index.
Create a index of all words in the document(s) (full text index) or just for some specified words (target word index).
Edit the result by filtering out the stopwords (the, it, a, and...) or by substitute the flections (trees-> tree)
You can annotate each entry and, if necessary, subordinate it to a umbrella term, thus creating a hierarchy in your index.
Determine how the addresses should be formated (e.g. 1-5 or 1ff.).
You can export the index as PlainText, PDF, HTML, XML, RTF, MS Word or CSV file. For print- and PDF export you are be able to select the font type and size.
Please support the development with a review in the AppStore.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
* Improvements *
- There is a new tool for creating a list of persons. This allows various mentions of a name in the text (maiden name, abbreviated name, artist's name, various spellings etc.) to be assigned to an entry.
- The index is no longer generated automatically in the preview. Instead, the selected output components are now saved with the file.
- The design options in the preview have been extended. Among other things, a panel for general design instructions has been introduced.
- In the default settings, you can now select whether HTML encodings should be converted to UTF-8 text. Tags are filtered out.
- The list of figures can now also be provided with links to the source PDF.
* BugFixes *
- The non-separation of e-mail addresses, URLs and times during indexing (option in the preferences) works again.
