URL Detector for Safari
macOS / Utilitaires
Unfortunately, Safari only detects URLs that start with "http://" or "https://". This is the reason why Safari does not show any options in the context menu for the text "apple.com". Whenever URLs deviate from the specification, Safari has problems detecting them (for example, if they contain whitespaces, typos, or incorrect schemes). URL Detector fixes this problem by showing Safari's missing options even for hard-to-detect URLs.
All features:
- Detect URLs without a scheme
- Detect URLs with an incorrect scheme
- Detect URLs with whitespaces
- Detect URLs with IPv4
- Insecure HTTP will be automatically converted to secure HTTPS
- Show warnings when Safari does mistakes
- Check the availability of servers before loading URLs
- Copy URLs from all open tabs in Safari

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
URL Detector for Safari 2.0.0 contains new features and improvements.
This version is completely redesigned and redeveloped from scratch.
New features:
- All features can be enabled and disabled individually
- A better algorithm that works more exactly and can detect more URLs
- Support for URLs with IPv4
- Better security: insecure HTTP will be automatically converted to secure HTTPS
- Copy URLs of all open tabs in Safari
- If no server is available, the popover will open automatically
Improvements:
- New app icon that complies with the new Human Interface Guidelines
- Support for Intel and Apple Silicon architectures
- Better performance because all JavaScript has been replaced by native Swift
- Removed old dependencies, from now on at least macOS 12.0 is required
- Unfortunately, providing localizations takes too much time, so German has been removed
