ButterflyMX allows you to open and manage doors & gates from your smartphone. Once our video intercom, keypad, elevator controls, package room, or key locker have been installed at your property, downloading this app will provide you with features such as video calling, virtual keys, delivery PINs, remote access, and much more - all designed to make property access simple for staff, residents, visitors, and deliveries. What’s more, all entries are recorded with a date- and time-stamped photo available for review in both the mobile app and on the property management dashboard.

We’re always working to make the ButterflyMX app better, faster, and more reliable for you.

- Easier access to policies: You can now find links to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in the account settings.
- Simplified smart lock controls: Yale lock users can now unlock doors with a single swipe. The app will automatically use Bluetooth when nearby or switch to remote unlock if you’re farther away.
- Visitor Pass update: We’ve renamed "Virtual Key" to "Visitor Pass" throughout the app to better reflect its purpose.
- Bug fix: We resolved an issue impacting the Swipe-to-Open functionality.
