SpeedLight is a mobile viewer for Second Life virtual universe. It is a lightweight, cross-platform viewer. It allows performing all you need in your Second Life: login, stay online, contact your friends using IMs and local chat, teleport across the world.

SpeedLight is FREE to use. The additional Gold facility adds unlimited online time to your avatar.

3D Loads Faster:

* Always Loading Surrounding World: Your avatar now always loads the surrounding world, which reduces the initial delay when entering 3D.

* Bundled 3D Engine for Gold and Patrons: The Gold and Patron 3D engine is now bundled with the mobile app, reducing the 3D load time to moments. Enjoy a smoother experience!

* 3D Engine Improvements for Everyone: We've made a lot of improvements to the 3D engine for all users (Free, Gold, Patrons) to make 3D better, faster, and less resource-consuming.


Updates:

* Dialogs Removal Reworked: We've reworked how IM dialogs are removed to make it more clear. Now it's easier to manage your conversations.Updates


Fixes and Workarounds:

* Texture Loading Fix: Sometimes textures fail to load from Second Life (they turn into red checkers). We've added a workaround to load these textures differently to ensure they all appear correctly.


* Faster Avatar Loading: Real avatars are now delivered in a more compact form and should load faster!
