Overview
UniFi Protect iOS 2.9.0 adds support for device tags, Image Tuning and improves the Dashboard user experience.
Improvements
- Added the Global AI Features section if multiple AI Keys have been adopted on the UniFi Console.
- Added the ability to update the firmware of AI Keys and Ports.
- Added door unlock Shortcuts in the Dashboard.
- Added the Stream Encryption setting.
- Added the ability to assign and filter devices by tags. Support for creating and deleting tags will be added in a future release.
- Added Image Tuning in the device settings.
- Added the ability to enable Passkeys as an MFA method.
- Added support for swipe back gesture from the Timeline.
- Improved the Alarm Manager and Doorbell message user experience by presenting it as a card view.
- Improved the Dashboard user experience by hiding the navigation bars while scrolling.

- Replaced an image with a video if no devices have been adopted on the UniFi Console.
- Removed the letterboxing of UniFi Access cameras in the Dashboard.
- Removed all critical, detection, and custom filters from the Alarm Manager.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where sometimes the detections date range filter includes days without detections.
- Fixed an issue where view-only users couldn't view the Recognitions tab but could edit the profile.
- Fixed an issue where view-only users could access IoT device settings.
- Fixed an issue where the Add to Favorites setting was missing for third-party cameras.
- Fixed an issue where Viewer Quality settings were missing for the G2 Pro.
