Redact Shield is a fast photo privacy workbench for covering sensitive information before an image leaves your phone or iPad. Choose a photo, capture a new image, paste an image, or use the included demo, then redact private details with automatic detection and manual masking tools.
Use Redact Shield for screenshots, receipts, travel documents, IDs, boarding passes, forms, messages, addresses, phone numbers, faces, barcodes, and other details you do not want exposed. Automatic detection can find faces and readable text on device, while manual tools let you add blur, pixelation, or legal-style black bars anywhere on the image.
Redact Shield is local-first. Version 1.0 does not require an account, does not track users, and does not upload user images to a backend service.
